Our CurriculumOur curriculum is based on the children's interest and passion. Children thrive and learn the best when their interests are captured. At Country Kids Child Care Centre, children learn as a result of their doing through actions, relationships, inquiries, opportunities and repetition. Our teachers become their research partners, seeking answers to the children's questions and supporting their interests. Our centre is their place of exploration, offering the materials and tools to inspire each child. The children's theories and ideas play a significant role in our curriculum.

Special Programs & ActivitiesOur Special Programs/Activities will be offered at various times throughout each month / year. There will be a Special Activity which occurs daily within the Toddler and Preschool Classrooms. Our Children of Character Program is a program in which we foster a different character trait each month, as we believe social emotional development within children is vital. We will foster this trait throughout the month through literacy, activities and social interactions in both the Toddler and Preschool Classrooms. Some positive traits we will focus on include; kindness, helpfulness, leadership and empathy. At the end of every month, each child will be recognized on how they were able to emulate the particular character trait. Please note that our curriculum is ever evolving, as we like to keep up with the interests of the children who attend our centre.
